WHO IS DEVYN STONE?
Master (Devyn) Stone is a queer, neurodivergent, and disabled author, educator, and DEI consultant whose work centers on trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and decolonizing approaches to sexuality, leadership, and authority transfer education. A Leatherman, dominant, and community organizer, he has practiced authority transfer dynamics since 2004 and has been teaching and mentoring in the field since 2014. He currently resides in Detroit with his property, Guan-Xuan.
Devyn is the author of DAMN! That’s A Nice Ash! A Comprehensive Guide to Cigar Service & Play, Why I Don’t Own Them... Yet..., and The Quick Reference Rainbow series—concise guides designed to make concepts like relational ethics and protocol more accessible for neurodivergent learners and leaders. As the founder of Pragmatically Kinking, he developed a virtual education platform that hosts practical, community-centered classes focused on real-world applications of kink and relationship dynamics. He also serves as Executive Producer of THRIVE, a virtual conference dedicated to the intersection of neurodivergence, mental health, and BDSM, where staff and educators who opt in are compensated through community donations.
His educational philosophy is rooted in liberation: learning as an act of healing, community as a site of resistance, and education as a pathway toward collective freedom. Devyn offers more than twenty classes and has taught over three hundred sessions worldwide, engaging individuals, organizations, and events in building decolonizing, trauma-informed systems of consent, leadership, accessibility, and authority transfer.
He believes in diversity, not division—a principle that guides his lifelong commitment to creating affirming, equitable, and inclusive spaces.
